CompeteMap's editorial perspective, based on our research and competition guide.
Paper packs must be ordered earlier than online/PDF options; overseas schools use online or PDF download. - Primary Mathematics Challenge is aimed at pupils aged 9-11 and schools worldwide may enter. - It is a school-entry competition, so parents should ask the teacher or maths coordinator. - It rewards puzzle reasoning, visual thinking and careful reading, not advanced secondary content. - It is a good step after First Mathematics Challenge and before UKMT JMC for strong pupils. - Preparation should be light, enjoyable and based on discussion of problem-solving strategies.
