Science Buddies Engineering Challenge 2026

Rated Advanced, The Science Buddies Engineering Challenge is a free annual K–12 build-and-test problem using simple materials and a published scoring system. Students worldwide can participate through a classroom or supported independent entry by following the annual rules and submission process. The challenge lies in iterative engineering: measuring performance, identifying weaknesses and improving a physical design within fixed constraints.
