The Certified Irish Angus Schools Competition combines agricultural research with practical experience of rearing Irish Angus cattle. That combination is what gives the programme its weight. Students are not only proposing a topic or delivering a presentation; selected teams must live with the consequences of a long project, collect evidence from real husbandry and explain what their findings mean for Irish agriculture.
